The Eclipse Spherical is a unique aero helmet that combines the best of Giro technologies into a compact shape ideal for competitive cycling.Spherical Technology Powered by MIPS. This technology is based on the principle of the joint. The shell consists of two parts (hemispheres) inserted into each other and connected using yellow elastomers. Now the facts. I also tried POC Ventral Air MIPS, POC Octal MIPS, GIRO Aether Spherical, Orbea R10 AERO MIPS, MET Estro MIPS. Giro eclipse is the best, though. It fits perfectly on my head, it doesn't roll around. Since I ride outside all year round, I needed to fit a winter hat and mittens under my helmet for frosty days. All the others were pushing me to the limit with this equipment. My head circumference is 58 cm, I took a helmet size L (59-63 cm).

Head circumference 58cm and I still took L and I did well. The helmet fits me just right even though according to the charts it should be big for me. Therefore I recommend trying it on and not relying only on the charts. Despite the fewer holes, the ventilation is very good.
